What bike infrastructure we have is often built by big developers based on renderings  from architects rather than actual transportation engineers. Bike paths are "ammenities" to draw tenants or shoppers rather than actual infrastructure, and of course, they often stop after a few blocks.</p>]]></content:encoded>
