@ianrbuck I was traveling with my sister and my parents. The bus was far less comfortable and fun - and the schedule wasn't ideal. Though I have to admit, part of the rational was that it's just sort of romantic to arrive in Chicago by train.

So, 100% agree that we need more Amtrak service to more destinations. But for this trip, since you were taking an inter-city bus from Columbus to Dayton, why not also take a bus from Dayton to Chicago?
