This is the forest in a loose series of videos documenting key bike routes in Madison, WI. In this one we ride from Monroe St (two blocks from the Southwest Commuter Path) to the Capital City Trail at Olin Park. In addition to being a useful crosstown connector, the Wingra Creek Path crosses Fish Hatchery Rd. only 1 km north of the start of the Cannonball Path.

Really Monroe Dr should have been road dieted with the reconstruction project years ago. That was a massive failure for the city.

If I had my way, I would eminent domain an easement across the top of those three properties (there is already a shared driveway!) on Wingra to allow for a non-motorized connection.
